Job Description:
GDIT is seeking a Sr. Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Manager to lead the Strategic Capture Support team. This team is responsible for the oversight and management of all capture quoting efforts for GDIT.
How a Senior Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Manager will make an impact:
+ Management of all quoting efforts related to capture and proposal efforts at GDIT.
+ Review strategic solution bill of materials and develop sourcing strategies to ensure the best proposal price.
+ Ensure all sourcing adheres to GDIT’s internal compliance standards and all government contracting regulatory requirements, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) to ensure a smooth transition at award.
+ Manage and build the relationship and sourcing process with our key suppliers; including but not limited to terms negotiations, pricing negotiation, full understanding of the agreement, and any customer specific requirements that need to be considered as part of the proposal process.
+ Identifying areas where the quoting process is delayed or could be improved and creating a process that mitigates those challenges.
+ Management of all non-disclosure agreements and terms and conditions related to the proposal process.
+ Build a repository, templates, and process flow for proposal specific requests.
+ Responsible for all aspects of staffing and personnel management; including coaching, mentoring, training, professional development, and compliance with policy, process, and procedures. Manager shall partner with senior leadership to improve all aspects of the supply chain department by reviewing current methodology and processes.
+ Maintain a professional relationship with suppliers while promoting company initiatives and values.
+ Participate in capture meetings giving status updates, ensuring strategy alignment, and assisting in resolving technical issues related to BOM or SOW inconsistencies.
+ Coordinate with GDIT’s Supply Chain Risk Team to assist with inputs into proposal write ups.
+ Sr. Manager will also oversee our Sourcing Administrative Support team (manager with 4 direct reports)
Qualifications:
+ 5+ Years in Commercial or FAR Regulated Supply Chain Experience (must have a minimum of 3 years in government contracting)
+ Education: High School Diploma and 9+ years of Supply Chain experience OR Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of FAR Regulated Supply Chain experience
+ Understanding of the government contracting proposal process.
+ Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company.
+ Performs work supporting proposals and contracts that require U.S. citizenship.
Desired Qualifications:
+ Experience communicating and building supplier relationships
+ In-depth experience of the government contracting proposal process and best practices for quote management
+ Project Management of large projects, sourcing efforts, etc.
The likely salary range for this position is $110,614 - $128,800. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
