    Description

    Job Description:

Are you ready to embark on a rewarding career where your analytical skills and attention to detail can make a meaningful impact on the financial world? We are seeking an Entry-Level Financial Crimes Compliance Analyst to join our dynamic and mission-driven team in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will become a key player in safeguarding the integrity of the financial system, helping to prevent money laundering activities, fraud schemes, and counter-terrorist financing.

This position is ideal for candidates looking to enter the finance and compliance industries, as we provide comprehensive training and mentorship to ensure your success in this vital role. Plus, it comes with unlimited overtime opportunities for those who seek a fast-paced environment with room to grow and develop their expertise within the financial crimes compliance field.

    What You’ll Do:

As an Entry-Level Financial Crimes Compliance Analyst, you will:

+ Monitor and Identify Risks: Review alerts generated by transaction monitoring systems to detect unusual patterns, suspicious activities, or transactions that may indicate possible financial crimes.

+ Investigate and Evaluate Transactions: Delve into flagged behaviors by conducting due diligence to assess their legitimacy, comparing client activities against expected norms, and reporting any red flags promptly.

+ Document Findings: Prepare detailed, clear, and concise reports of investigations for submission to senior compliance professionals and regulatory agencies.

+ Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with other teams, including client service teams and technology specialists, to conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) effectively.

+ Stay Ahead of Industry Rules: Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions focused on Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), and global compliance standards.

+ Optimize Monitoring Systems: Offer input to technology teams for improving transaction monitoring systems, identifying solutions and ensuring operational excellence to enhance financial compliance procedures.

    Why Join Us?

+ Training and Growth: You will benefit from structured training programs to enhance your knowledge of compliance and financial crime investigative procedures.

+ Work-Life Flexibility: Unlimited overtime opportunities enable you to maximize your earnings while advancing your career within a vibrant and supportive team.

+ Impactful Work: Your daily efforts will contribute directly to ensuring financial institutions operate safely, securely, and ethically.

+ Dynamic Industry Knowledge: Gain exposure to cutting-edge practices in AML, CTF, and compliance, directly addressing skills gaps in the industry, such as ERP and advanced financial analytics.

    Requirements

    What We’re Looking For:

+ Education and Interest: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, criminology, or a related field.

+ Technical Savvy: Comfort navigating databases, compliance platforms, and potentially ERP software, along with proficiency in basic tools like Microsoft Excel.

+ Strong Communication Skills: Ability to articulate findings clearly through written reports and verbal communication.

+ Attention to Detail: Keen analytical mindset with the ability to detect patterns and anomalies in large datasets.

+ Team Player: Desire to collaborate across departments, learn from senior compliance professionals, and contribute to protecting financial institutions from risk and disruption.
