What You'll Do
The O&M Supervisor at Santan Generating Station
+ Lead the Power Generation Operator Trainee Program
+ Lead the Power Generation Distributed Control System Trainee Program
+ Track and monitor Operator Trainees and DCS assigned at plants Develop and implement additional training curriculum and operating procedures
Job Responsibilities
+ Develop, enhance, and administer the Power Generation Operator & DCS Trainee programs
+ Directly supervise Operator Trainee, DCS Trainee personnel and Training Analyst
+ Engage with customers to ensure that program requirements and expectations are being met
+ Communicate at all levels, present training information at an advanced level and provide routine progress and status updates on programs Directives and monitor Training Analyst on short-range and long-range tasks and objectives related to the training programs initiatives
+ Develop and maintain training budgets necessary for program funding
+ Identifies and implements training programs as needed to maintain proficiency of all personnel in a multi-skilled environment.
+ Plans, coordinates and/or assists in reviewing all unit outage work and modifications or additions to plant systems and equipment.
+ Supports the Asset Management process and oversight of plant systems.
+ Monitor and evaluate plant performance related to EIM operation.
+ Ensures compliance with all Operations reporting requirements.
+ Manages plant Operating Procedures.
Experience
Over 4 years of related experience.
+ Must possess practical Combined Cycle Operations Specialist experience and Distributed Control System knowledge
+ Preferred technical instructor experience presenting materials related to Power Generation technologies
+ Supervision and Leadership roles and experiences desired
*Knowledge and experience with Combined Cycle Operations and Distributed Control Systems strongly preferred.*
Education
Completion of an Associate's degree, Apprenticeship, or 60 college credit hours from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.

Hybrid Workplace
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
