Description

1. Inspects boiler room equipment to ensure proper maintenance. Reviews reports for alarms and corrective action. Administers preventative maintenance on boiler room systems and equipment.

2. Assigns maintenance work orders and clean up, daily.

3. May recruit and maintain a productive, effective, diversified, respectful and knowledgeable work force through an effective recruitment, interview, selection, and orientation process. Prepares and administers annual employee evaluations.

4. Submits recommendations for repairs/replacements, in accordance with budget planning.

5. Serves as a liaison with contractors and tradesmen on jobsite to assure all stages of work are completed within schedule.

6. Maintains license and inspections of hospital equipment.

7. Ensures that all Stationary Engineers obtain a yearly high pressure boiler operator licenses.

8. Coordinates inspections and licenses are conducted and maintained.

9. May ensure quality merchandise is purchased at competitive prices with approval.

10. Performs other duties as assigned.
