As a CNC Machinist you will produce very complex machined parts by setting up and operating a CNC Mill or Lathe Machines.

We currently operate state-of-the-art:

+ Multi-axis Mazak Mills

+ Multi-axis Mazak Turning Centers

+ Swiss Lathes

What you'll do

+ Read blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, and depth of cut.

+ Select, positions, and secure work piece (chuck, collet, or vise). Change tools, adjust offsets and tool comps to maintain required part quality.

+ Inspect products during the machining operation to determine if parts meet print specifications.

+ Observe operation of machine and verify conformance of machined workpiece to specifications.

+ Maintain equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements. Reporting need for machine repairs.

+ Understand and comply with company policy safety guidelines, quality systems requirements and housekeeping standards.

What you need to thrive in this role

+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

+ Prior experience operating CNC Mills or Lathes (experience preferred in setting up and programming/editing programs)

+ Ability to read and understand blueprints including GD&T tolerancing with profile tolerancing preferred.

+ Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction.

+ Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.

+ Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, ability to anticipate, think ahead and plan.

+ Ability to work in a team, strong interpersonal skills, effective communication skills.
