Job Summary
The Evidence Based Medicine Content Integration Analyst is a subject matter expert who assists with planning, design, development, end user training, implementation support, and adoption of Zynx Evidence Based Order Sets to achieve clinical transformation that results in improved patient care outcomes, end user efficiency and financial outcomes. The Analyst will understand Clinical (Physician) workflow and required documentation and apply this knowledge in the support of build and implementation and of clinical systems specific to Cerner Clinical Applications.
Essential Functions
+ Support the facility Providers and IT staff with both clinical and technical details required to trouble shoot issues
+ Support CHS Director of Physician Adoption Optimization in executing workflow related Zynx evidence based medicine order set maintenance and Cerner PowerPlan build
+ Lead/facilitate Order set oversight committee charged with defining order set content options and making design recommendations.
+ Assist Director of Physician Adoption Optimization and the associate chief medical information officer in translating the optimization initiatives into specific changes in the EHR that are executable.
+ Effectively communicate with multidisciplinary teams and manage and execute change in a complex multi facility environment
+ Provides reporting assistance and serves as a subject matter expert to the clinical informatics/Physician applications to facilitate data driven changes to achieve meaningful outcomes; provides summaries of clinical systems issues and to clinical business partners to enable meaningful collaboration and address specific clinical questions/scenarios to facilitate timely resolution.
+ Work under the direction of Zynx team subject matter experts on corporate clinical informatics team to help successfully execute order set updates changes that are part of the optimization road map
Qualifications
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent clinical area
+ Experience: 3 years of direct hospital experience preferred; recent informatics experience required; Cerner and/or Zynx experience
+ Preferred License/Registration/Certification: Active/current licensure in any clinical area (i.e. RN)
+ Computer Skills Required: Basic understanding of the functionality of EHR platforms and ability to quickly train on EHR platforms (Cerner experience preferred). Understanding of spreadsheets and databases to consume/generate analytics
