    Small General Practice Law Office

     

    Looking to earn some vacation money, we need 1 week of coverage in a small, General Practice Law office supporting two dedicated attorneys.

    Key Responsibilities

    + **Guest Reception:** Warmly greet guests upon arrival.

    + **Phone Management:** Operate a 5-line phone system (call volume is typically light).

    + **Document Preparation:** Type memos and meeting notes using MS Word (50+ WPM preferred).

    + **Transcription:** Utilize a transcription tool to prepare meeting notes.

    + **Basic Computer Skills:** Save documents as PDF.

    + **Typewriter Tasks:** Occasional use; training provided.

    + **Payment Handling:** Process credit card payments (training and instructions will be provided).

     

    Skills & Qualifications

     

    + **Multi-tasking:** Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

    + **Legal Expertise:** Prefer candidates with a basic understanding of legal terms.

    + **Computer Proficiency:** Must be adept with basic computer operations and document management.

     

    Work Environment & Dress Code

     

    + **Office Atmosphere:** Relaxed and supportive.

    + **Dress Code:** Business casual; jeans allowed on Fridays (no holes or controversial attire).

     

    Hours

     

    + **Working Hours:** 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday (potential early dismissal on Friday).
