Pay Rate:

_The pay rate for this job is $18 - $20 / hour*_

What you'll be doing as an Industrial Electrician:

+ Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment

+ Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service

+ Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics

+ Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic duties

+ Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controller and identify inputs and outputs in Ladder Logic, faulty machinery and make necessary repairs to production machines

+ Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listen for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments

+ Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment

+ Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs

+ Document Maintenance and Repairs

Job requirements:

+ Associate degree (A.S) Industrial Maintenance with 2 years' experience

+ Certificate in Industrial Maintenance with 5 years' experience

+ Currently licensed electrician

+ Strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with PLC experience and HVAC

+ Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane, solid geometry, and trigonometry

+ Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, and technical manuals and drawings

+ Must have above average skills in the use and application of word processing and spreadsheet software

+ Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day

+ Must frequently lift and/or move items over 40 pounds.

+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

+ Background check and drug screening required
