CACI is seeking a Senior Field Service Cabling/Hardware Engineer to provide specialized support to the Global Operations Center Engineering team, directly assisting the commander of USSTRATCOM. This role involves designing, installing, and maintaining cabling infrastructure and hardware systems critical to operational readiness and mission success. The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.
Responsibilities:
+ Provides installation of C4 systems/sub-systems and supporting systems; technical services for operations and maintenance of C4 systems; integration of Audio/Visual equipment; and cable installation, including Cat 6, fiber optic, control cable, and speaker wire, as part of the GOC Integration Team (GIT)
+ Tests components to ensure cables and equipment are within proper specifications
+ Troubleshoots and determines system performance issues and provides solutions
+ Provides removal and proper disposal of obsolete systems and equipment while adhering to proper disposal and documentation/handling procedures
+ Provides support for implementing technical solutions, installing interfaces, and ensuring that devices are operational
+ Provides installation, integration, test, and management of systems that support GOC personnel
+ Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments
+ Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
+ Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays) as required by mission needs
+ Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership to meet mission requirements and support USSTRATCOM objectives. Depending on experience and team structure, this role may involve working under direct supervision or potentially providing guidance, training, or supervision to others
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
+ Minimum of 7 years of experience in cabling and hardware engineering, preferably in a military or defense environment
+ Required 8140 Cert: 723 - Intermediate; GSEC; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training
+ Proficiency in structured cabling systems and network hardware
+ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
+ Minimum ClearanceTop Secret with SCI eligibility
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$49,700 - $101,800
