CACI is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable **Control Systems Security Specialist** to join our cybersecurity team supporting the U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP). This role directly aligns with the DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce Framework work role for **Control Systems Security Specialist** at the **Intermediate** level. The successful candidate will be responsible for the device, equipment, and system-level cybersecurity configuration and day-to-day security operations of critical control systems (ICS/SCADA/OT). Responsibilities include security monitoring, maintenance, applying patches/updates, maintaining secure baselines, supporting RMF assessments for control systems, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure system security and availability in support of mission operations. This position requires the ability to work rotating shifts as necessary to support the MISSION.

    The Opportunity:

Join a CACI team where the mission is critical, and the team culture is paramount. We are building a positive, fun, collaborative, and light-hearted environment focused on collective success and individual growth. Our leadership is committed to:

**Culture:** Fostering an engaging workplace through gamified cyber concepts (tabletop exercises, Backdoors & Breaches card game), team contests, informative lunch-and-learn sessions, active participation in local youth cyber programs, and opportunities to attend leading industry conventions like DEFCON and BSIDES. You'll apply your specialized skills in a unique and vital area of cybersecurity.

**Training:** Championing life-long learning. We prioritize robust training programs aligned with your career goals and DoD requirements, focusing on control systems security, emerging OT threats, and relevant technologies. Our leadership provides mentorship and resources to ensure continuous professional development in this specialized field.

**Talent Management:** Investing in your future. Every team member receives a detailed and fully customized Individual Development Plan (IDP). We facilitate cross-training and exploration of different roles within CACI, ensuring you remain challenged, engaged, and never bored, potentially bridging IT and OT security domains.

This is a unique opportunity to specialize in the critical field of control systems cybersecurity, protecting vital infrastructure and contributing directly to national security within a supportive team environment.

    Responsibilities:

As a Control Systems Security Specialist, you will focus on the unique security challenges of OT/ICS environments, including but not limited to:

+ **Control System Security Operations:** Perform day-to-day security operations for control systems (PLCs, SCADA, DCS). Architect compensating security controls for resource-constrained or non-standard systems (KSAT 6941).

+ **Monitoring & Analysis:** Configure, collect, and review control system audit logs, monitoring for anomalies and potential security events (KSAT 5828, 5833). Utilize active and passive methods to safely conduct vulnerability and network analysis scans within control system environments (KSAT 6939). Identify and investigate "abnormal" control system operations (KSAT 6943).

Implement and maintain network segmentation to isolate control systems (KSAT 5832). Perform asset management and maintain inventory for control system devices (KSAT 5836). Apply security measures to control system communication protocols (e.g., MODBUS, DNP3) (KSAT 6946).

Participate in control system change management processes (KSAT 5834). Participate in control system incident and disaster response, including secure recovery efforts (KSAT 5835). Consult on control system security matters (KSAT 5826).

+ **Reporting & Recommendations:** Provide input to RMF documentation (KSAT 809). Write recommendations for tuning security configurations specific to control systems. Ensure control system security status and incidents are reported according to established procedures, potentially including JFHQ-DODIN timelines per CJCSM 6510.01B.

+ **Additional Duties:** Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership to meet mission requirements and support USSTRATCOM objectives. Depending on experience and team structure, this role may involve working under direct supervision or potentially providing guidance, training, or supervision to others.
