    **Koniag IT Systems, LLC,** a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Digital Designer to support **KITS** and our government customer in Alexandria, VA. _This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity._

    Koniag IT Systems, LLC is seeking a creative and technically skilled Digital Designer to create engaging digital learning experiences and content. The ideal candidate will combine advanced design capabilities with expertise in interactive content development, focusing on creating visually appealing and functional eLearning solutions while maintaining accessibility standards. This role requires both creative vision and technical proficiency in digital design tools.

    Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:

    + The Digital Designer will be responsible for creating compelling digital content and interactive learning experiences while ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.

    Key responsibilities include:

    + Design and implement harmonious layout compositions for digital content

    + Create and manipulate course assets and interactive elements

    + Develop engaging animations and realistic learning scenarios

    + Source and modify images for course content

    + Ensure Section 508 compliance in all digital materials

    + Create appealing and functional websites and course designs

    + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in digital content

    + Present design concepts to stakeholders

    + Maintain USPTO branding consistency across platforms

    + Provide design guidance for training materials

    + Develop interactive elements for learner engagement

    + Create 3D models and high-resolution simulations

    Education and Experience:

    Required:

    + Bachelor's degree in Digital Design, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)

    + Minimum 4 years of relevant digital design experience

    + Experience with 3D modeling and high-resolution simulation design

    + Professional portfolio demonstrating digital design expertise

    Required Skills and Competencies:

    + Advanced proficiency in digital design software

    + Expertise in interactive content development

    + Strong 3D modeling capabilities

    + Excellence in layout composition

    + Image manipulation skills

    + Understanding of UX/UI principles

    + Knowledge of Section 508 compliance

    + Strong presentation skills

    + Project management abilities

    + Creative problem-solving skills

    + Technical troubleshooting capabilities

    + Strong communication abilities

    Desired Skills and Competencies:

    + Experience in eLearning development

    + Knowledge of instructional design principles

    + Expertise in animation software

    + Advanced web design skills

    + Experience with LMS platforms

    + Knowledge of current design trends

    + Video production capabilities

    + Experience with responsive design

    + Expertise in typography

    + Knowledge of coding (HTML, CSS)

    + Experience with virtual reality/augmented reality

    + Background in gamification

    + Motion graphics expertise

    + Experience with accessibility tools

    + Knowledge of educational technology

    + Experience with educational content development is highly valuable.
