Order Entry Specialist – Austin TX

We are looking for an Order Entry Specialist to join our team.

We are seeking a detail-oriented team player to assist in the daily functions of the Order Management Department. This in-office position works closely with the Sales & Finance teams to ensure that all customer sales are accurately ordered and invoiced.  To be successful in this role, you must be eager to learn, analytical and detail-oriented, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be adaptable to system & process changes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

+ Assist with the daily review of open / pending sales orders

+ Responsible for the timely and efficient processing of sales orders

+ Accurate entry of new and renewal customer orders into vendor portals and QuickBooks

+ Distribution of order confirmations to customers and Sales team

+ Assist with the completion of returns / exchanges

+ Processing of customer credit card payments

+ Distribution of software codes to customers

+ Resolving customer issues

+ Assist sales team related to questions regarding customer accounts

+ Filing of completed paperwork

+ Ability to work extended hours during end of month / end of year cycles

Essential Education, Skills and Experience:

+ Strong attention to detail to accurately enter data, research and resolve issues

+ Strong customer service focus with excellent communication skills

+ Accuracy and attention to detail

+ Aptitude for numbers

+ Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks

+ Team player and willing to learn

+ Must be able to work independently, and as part of a team

+ Self-motivated in an environment that demands persistence and drive

+ Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software

+ Experience with QuickBooks a plus

+ Experience with Salesforce a plus
