What You'll Do

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant(Accounting Automation/Data Mapping role) to join our Asset Management Accounting Support team. In this role, you’ll apply knowledge of accounting standards and expertise to solve business problems, seeking guidance for new or complex situations.

+ Lead small to medium size projects and manage deliverables for the project team

+ Serve as a liaison between business partners and IT focused on support of accounting systems and data warehouses

+ Lead and participate in the implementation of projects as well as system enhancements

+ Gather and write business requirements

+ Provide data requirements to IT and maintain data mapping used for data warehouses

+ Write and test financial reports using Excel, SQL, Snowflake, Alteryx

+ Assist business with data warehouse related issues and testing

+ Involved in researching various issues affecting the business unit

+ Identify and implement operational enhancements that enhance efficiency of other team members

Who You Are

+ Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 5 + yearsof related accounting experience is required

+ Double major or a minor in an IT related field is a plus

+ Ability to write/modify reports using advanced SQL skills

+ Must have a strong knowledge of Excel and system capabilities/techniques

+ Experience with accounting or investment accounting systems and/or ledger tools

+ Must have strong leadership skills

+ Excellent communication, problem solving, math, analytical, and organizational skills as well as a strong attention to detail is required

+ Must be able to meet established deadlines, work in a fastmoving environment and handle multi-tasks simultaneously

+ Must be able to build and maintain relationships and facilitate collaboration and communication

+ Ability to coordinate with both business and IT

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$86450 - $116850 / year

Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work Environments

This role offers an in-office and hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek) work arrangement in Des Moines, IA.
