This position is contingent upon contract award

Roles and Responsibilities:

+ Support the development of U.S. Army positions related to the transfer of military and dual-use technologies to foreign countries.

+ Staff technology transfer requests, as appropriate, with Army organizations.

+ Ensure compliance with the United States’ and the Department of Defense’s export control policies.

+ Apply working knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulation (EAR).

+ Utilize knowledge of the DoD’s Technology Security/Foreign Disclosure process and manage exceptions to the National Disclosure Policy.

+ Navigate the requirements of international export control regimes to which the United States is a signatory.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field (an additional 10 years may be substituted in lieu of degree)

+ 6 years of experience in a related field

+ Active Secret clearance, eligibility for a Top Secret/SCI clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Expert knowledge of the United States’ and the Department of Defense’s export control policies.

+ Working knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulation (EAR).

+ Familiarity with the DoD’s Technology Security/Foreign Disclosure process and how to process exceptions to the National Disclosure Policy.

+ Understanding of the requirements of international export control regimes to which the United States is a signatory.
