Join our team as an Activities Associate (Intermissions Associate). In this role, you can bring their gift of compassion to our residents and family members in our intermissions program, who deal with the challenges of dementia.

+ Compensation: Starting at $18.00 per hour with experience.

Schedule: Per Diem/On-Call Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM

How you will make an impact

+ Lead social activity-based programming for Intermission participants.

+ Adopt a person-centered approach and an environment that supports the needs of each individual resident.

+ Assist with designing and implementing creative programming.

+ Assist in program operation by leading activities and transport residents to and from programs.

+ Engage in mealtime preparations.

+ Complete daily attendance records.

+ Attend in-services and other training to increase job knowledge and skills in working with participants.

What you will need

+ Programming/activity experience is preferred.

+ Patience, flexibility, and the sincere interest and desire to work with residents affected by dementia.

+ A bility to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English is required.

+ Must be at least 18 years old.

+ Basic computer skills are required.
