Job Description
The Facility Technician is responsible for collecting and auditing facilities, and reporting data to management per the findings. The Facility Technician is a key employee in ensuring the quality and integrity of samples used for various purposes, such as testing, analysis, and compliance.
**Duties & Responsibilities** (Essential functions are identified in bold and italicized text below.)
+ **_Must work safely at all times._**
+ **_Responsible for accurate timekeeping in HR management system and submitting on time per payroll deadlines._**
+ **_Audit facilities to measure tank bottoms, pad, and oil._**
+ **_Collect routine and non-routine samples from various facilities, such as wellheads, pipelines, and tanks, and submit samples to labs for analysis._**
+ **_Identify issues and report findings of the impact on safety, environment, and/or production to the Water management team._**
+ **_Determine treatment plan of facility, discuss with management team treatment plan, and carry out treatment plan._**
+ **_Generate and maintaining reports for each facility of sample collection._**
+ **_Ensure that samples that are collected are analyzed according to industry standards and regulations._**
+ **_Identify and resolve issues related to sample collection, analysis or reporting._**
+ **_Ensure that equipment used for sample collection and analysis is properly maintained and calibrated._**
+ **_Comply with government agency rules, regulations, and laws._**
+ **_Adhere to all Company and Water Solutions policies._**
+ **_Comply with OSHA requirements and follow all customer and NGL Water Solutions safety policies and procedures at all times._**
+ Regular attendance at the worksite is required.
+ Work continuously to maximize oil recovery and subsequent sales.
+ Evaluate and log process conditions and components.
+ Report and discuss safety concerns immediately with management.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Proven ability to meet/maintain Company requirements for driving positions.
+ Wide range of oilfield operations knowledge, including pipelines, pumps, and salt water disposal facilities.
+ Mechanical aptitude, with troubleshooting skills and the ability to make minor repairs.
+ Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
+ Critical thinking skills, including the ability to compile, assess, and synthesize data.
+ Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn software and technical tools quickly.
+ Efficiency and accuracy in data entry.
+ Organizational skills.
+ High initiative, with ability to work independently.
+ Working knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance.
+ Proven ability to work overtime as necessary.
+ Proven ability to be a positive representative of the Company both internally and externally.
+ Proven ability to work with respect and cooperation at all times with fellow employees and customers.
+ Must be committed to working safely at all times.
+ Maintain a valid driver’s license and meet qualifications to drive Company vehicles.
+ Knowledge of sampling techniques, laboratory equipment, and analytical methods.
+ Proven ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw conclusions based on sample analysis.
+ Accuracy and precision in collecting, analyzing, and documenting samples.
Experience/Education
+ Valid Driver's License is required.
+ 4 years of experience working in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
+ HS diploma / GED is preferred.
Travel
Frequent travel to assigned SWD locations within an assigned region. Out of town travel limited. Requires the ability to travel to a variety of field locations, where environment may vary significantly, within a geographic region.

+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
+ Work requires physical efforts associated with using the computer and phones to access information.

+ Occasionally in an office environment.
+ Occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places.

+ Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, hand tools and small to medium-sized power tool use.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
This position is required to be performed at the work site during regularly scheduled hours. Physical presence at the work site is required.
