This investment firm provides a wife range of financial services to its clients. The company focuses on private equity, venture capital, real estate, and various other investment opportunities. They are currently hiring a contractor to join their team for help build out mobile-responsive websites. This is a 5 week contract, however there is a possible opportunity to convert to full time dependent upon engineer performance.

Required Skills & Experience

+ 5+ years of experience as a .NET Engineer

+ Developing, deploying, and maintaining web applications using ASP.NET Core 7.

+ Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns in C#.

+ Ability to design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs.

+ Knowledge of API security, versioning, and best practices for API design.

+ Ability to work with SQL Server or other relational database management systems.

+ Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

+ Experience in the fintech industry or with financial applications.

+ Knowledge of cloud services and deployment (e.g., Azure, AWS).

+ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

+ 75% new development

+ 25% maintaince and enhancements

Daily Responsibilities

+ Develop and maintain scalable web applications using C#, .NET Core, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.

+ Collaborate with architects, designers, and business analysts to deliver robust and efficient software solutions.

+ Design and implement APIs and microservices to support a modular, service-oriented architecture.

+ Deploy applications to Microsoft Azure, leveraging services including Azure Functions, App Services, and Azure DevOps pipelines.

+ Uphold code quality through unit testing, peer code reviews, and adherence to CI/CD best practices.

+ Contribute to technical planning, architecture reviews, and system design discussions.
