Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking a QC Chemist to join their team. As a QC Chemist, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent teamwork abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** QC Chemist

**Location:** McPherson, Kansas

**Pay Range:** $38-44 per hour

What's the Job?

+ Perform routine and non-routine chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products using techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, titration, and wet chemistry methods.

+ Maintain detailed, accurate, and compliant laboratory records following GMP and quality standards.

+ Investigate and troubleshoot analytical issues, equipment malfunctions, and data deviations.

+ Prepare and review technical documents such as test methods, specifications, protocols, and reports.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality concerns and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific field.

+ 1–3 years of laboratory experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environment preferred.

+ Proficient with analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, UV, etc.) and understanding of USP/EP methodologies.

+ Strong understanding of cGMP, GLP, and other regulatory requirements.

+ Excellent documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
