Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a qualified Top-Secret Software Engineer in support of one of are large federal clients at Hanscom, AFB. This candidate will be supporting an aerial networking system of systems that enables advanced communications between tactical data links and facilitates the transfer of data across different security levels for various message sets. Their day to day will include but is not limited to:

Design, develop, operate, and maintain software and firmware components integrated with solutions involving various engineering disciplines.

These solutions may require knowledge in hardware, aerospace, communications, cyber, electrical, manufacturing, mechanical, or other specialized fields to support embedded software components.

Apply software standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system life cycle to create multi-disciplinary solutions, including simulations, avionics, command and control systems, tactical displays, medical devices, sensors, and electro-mechanical systems.

Interface with customers, suppliers, application users, and other technical and support personnel.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineer, IT or a related field

Active TS clearance with eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI.

8-12 years of experience in backend coding framework in one or more of the following:

C+ Java

Python.

Experience with Kubernetes and Containerization.

Familiarity with OpenVPX, OMS/UCI, and other industry and government open standards.

Skilled in systems integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex system problems.

Experience working in a SIL (systems integration lab) environment.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies, preferably SCRUM or Kanban.

Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket Master's Degree with 6-10 years of experience in backend coding framework.
