• Equipment Technician - Dry Etch

    Job Description

    A nationwide designer and supplier of semiconductor solutions is looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician for their Dry Etch department in Fort Collins, Colorado. This person will help to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the wafer fab equipment in their production facilities. A key part of this role will be preventative and corrective maintenance of the dry etch equipment, as well as documenting process and changes. This is a 24 hour running facility, and this immediate opening will be from 6pm-6am Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday. This person will be working with a 5 man team on any given shift. Comfortability in a clean room suit (or bunny suit) is necessary while on the clean room fab floor.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Associate's degree (Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Science, Electro-Mechanical Technology or related), OR equivalent military experience (avionics, communications/radar and navigation systems, nuclear sub, electronics tech, environmental and electrical systems)

     

    - Strong electronics and mechanical background (knowledge of how a transistor works, what a bridge rectifier is, and Ohm's law)

     

    -Experience using volt meters for electronic measurements

     

    -Comfortable with shift; Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6pm-6am and every other Wednesday

     

    -Comfortable in a bunny suit (when in the fab/clean room) at different parts of the day + Maintenance and repair of plasma/dry etch, or dry strip fabrication equipment
