Selling Partner Trust and Store Integrity (TSI) is responsible for creating a trustworthy shopping experience across Amazon stores worldwide by protecting customers, brands, selling partners, vendors and Amazon from fraud, counterfeit, and abuse as well as providing world‐class support and building loyalty with Amazon’s millions of selling partners. The Special Projects and Investigations (SPI) team within SPS protects Amazon customers and stores by launching investigative projects and detection mechanisms by deep diving key events within the bad actor lifecycle to detect abuse at the earliest point and close the gap for bad actors. To achieve this, we are looking for an experienced Risk Manager with background in risk/digital fraud and vendor management/risk, to manage critical and high impact vendor investigations and decisions. The ideal candidate should be passionate about using and understanding data to discover bad actor trends and helping us ensure that customers make great purchase decisions and that brand owners and sellers using Amazon are successful listing and selling their products. Your decisions are not only fundamental to helping protect customers and sellers but will help maintain the health of the Amazon catalog and systems.
Key job responsibilities
- Have strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes.
- Be proficient at managing change implementation for multiple programs cross-vertically; collaborate with stakeholders and/or managers to scope efforts, set project milestones, and drive delivery to meet deadlines to meet program goals.
- Be an experienced team member who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and influence cross-functional teams, such as product management, technical program management, engineering and science teams.
- Interact with stakeholders at multiple levels, supporting business and product teams to define and deliver solutions enabling streamlined standard processes and high quality experiences.
- Plan and manage multiple parallel projects.
- Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders and senior management.
- Be flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and enjoy working with ambiguity.
A day in the life
This role is focused on the identification and enforcement of bad and abusive vendors. Each day is different as new behaviors and trends are constantly discovered. You will be making high judgement decisions and taking direct actions to stop bad actors on worldwide stores as early as possible. While taking direct actions you will need to share your observations and trends with partner teams to constantly improve detection mechanisms. You are on the front lines of protecting Amazon customers and stopping abuse in our stores.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of developing program strategies and plans, diving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
