About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Consultant to support Consumer & Small Business Banking. As an Analytics Consultant you will use data analytic skills and methods to solve problems, create metrics and reports, perform analyses, provide feedback, and deliver insights to support decision making for various enterprise and business initiatives and strategies for areas related but not limited to customer and product profitability, business opportunity pipeline, sales tracking, liquidity financial trends and compliance risk management. In this role, you will:
+ Consult with business line and enterprise functions on less complex research
+ Use functional knowledge to assist in non-model quantitative tools that support strategic decision making
+ Perform analysis of findings and trends using statistical analysis and document process
+ Identify and define business requirements and translate data and business needs into research and recommendations to improve efficiency
+ Develop customized reports and ad hoc analyses to make recommendations and provide guidance to less experienced staff
+ Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
+ Ensure adherence to data management or data governance regulations and policies
+ Participate in company initiatives or processes to assist in meeting risk and capital objectives and other strategic goals
+ Collaborate and consult with more experienced consultants and with partners in technology and other business groups
Required Qualifications:
+ 2+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
+ 2+ year(s) of SAS programming experience
Desired Qualifications:
+ 3+ year(s) of experience with SAS or SQL, or other data management, reporting and query tools
+ 3+ year(s) of experience gathering business requirements from various sources including end-users and stakeholders
+ Microsoft Office Suite experience
+ Knowledge or experience of Small Business Banking
+ 1 year(s) of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) experience
+ 1 year(s) of compliance and controls testing experience
Job Expectations:
+ Candidate must reside within a reasonable commute to one of the site locations; however, the position is eligible to work from home in a hybrid model.
+ Must be available to work a hybrid model where you will be working in office 3 days a week and 2 days at home a week (subject to change based on business need).
