    *Position Summary:** *

     

    Sovah Danville is seeking a PRN Senior Ultrasound Student to perform various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

     

    * Obtains sonographic images under the supervision of an Ultrasound Tech.

    * Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.

    * Prepares equipment and supplies.

    * Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s).

    * Assures appropriate orders are obtained and followed during the performance of all procedures.

    * Verifies patient identification before performing any procedure.

    *Minimum Education:*

    * High school diploma or equivalent required.

    * Must have completed 6 months in a Sonography School and be currently enrolled.

    * Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with supervision.

    * Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
