Offer Based on Years of Experience What You Need to Know The Clinical L&D Specialist is responsible for the onboarding and ongoing development of clinicians. The Clinical L&D Specialist ensures clinicians are prepared to effectively coordinate, manage, and deliver patient care and services that meet / exceed quality, productivity, clinical, customer service and regulatory expectations. The Clinical L&D Specialist will support onboarding and training field clinicians and will participate in the onboarding of clinical back office roles required to complete field orientation. Travel may be required to meet organizational education needs, as this role is a remote position. Provides detailed instruction, support and oversight of the back office and clinical leader onboarding program Teaching onboarding classes Effectively trains clinical leaders to utilize HCHB and Muse to plan, coordinate, and support training of delivery of patient care, instructing back office staff on proper use of clinical software Responsible for maintaining detailed training calendar. Conducts ongoing Staff development to clinical leaders in clinical, customer service, and regulatory areas. Develops training content. Collaborates as needed with Instructional Design team, SME’s, Sponsors, and Managers to develop continuing education programs aligned to organizational goals. Works in conjunction with Clinical Learning & Development and Clinical Resources in the development, implementation, and maintenance of training and in-services for Clinical leadership, including specific training needs identified in action plans developed as a result of survey findings/ plans of correction. Current RN (Registered Nurse) professional license in good standing to practice in the state(s) required 2+ years hospice care experience required, excellent knowledge of regulations required. Proven ability to work within an interdisciplinary setting Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order Teaching, on the job trainer, or in service educator experience preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Strong presentation skills. Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods. Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives. Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
