Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an experienced _Software Engineer_ to join our team in the Payload and Ground Systems Division Engineering organization supporting the Integrated National Systems (INS) Business Unit (BU) to support a Ground program.

Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Science with 8+ years of relative experience; Master's degree in Science with 6+ years of relative experience: PhD + 2 years of experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
+ **Candidate must have a current/active Top Secret/SCI security clearance at time of application to be considered and must be willing to take a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly).**
+ CompTIA Security+ Certification.
+ Strong knowledge of software engineering concepts (OOP, unit testing, etc.).
+ Experience with Python programming.
+ Experience with Data Lake ingestion, indexing, and querying.
+ Understanding of AWS Simple Query Service (SQS).
+ GitLab familiarization.
+ Exposure to Agile processes.
Salary Range: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
