Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Production Planner to join our team in Plano, Texas. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient production processes by managing schedules, coordinating resources, and maintaining inventory levels. This position requires close collaboration with various departments to meet customer demand and optimize operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage detailed production schedules, ensuring alignment with customer orders, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity.
• Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and necessary components.
• Analyze production capacity to identify potential bottlenecks and propose strategies for optimizing throughput.
• Monitor order progress and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in demand, urgent requests, or production delays.
• Collaborate with teams across production, warehouse, quality assurance, and logistics to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Generate and evaluate production reports, using data insights to recommend process improvements.
• Ensure all production activities comply with internal quality standards and external safety regulations. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a related role.
• Proficiency in production planning tools and software, such as NetSuite or similar systems.
• Strong understanding of production processes, inventory management, and capacity planning.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and metrics to drive process improvements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with customer demand planning and supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of compliance and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
