Description We are looking for a skilled Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will provide essential accounting and bookkeeping support for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing complex financial processes and maintaining precise inter-company transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed reconciliations for bank accounts, general ledger entries, and inter-company transactions.

• Assist with tax preparation and planning, ensuring all filings comply with regulatory standards.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including timely invoicing and payment tracking.

• Conduct month-end close activities, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

• Utilize QuickBooks Pro and other accounting software to maintain accurate financial records.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support business decision-making.

• Handle advanced journal entries and valuations for multimillion-dollar accounts.

• Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement effective accounting strategies.

• Address discrepancies and provide corrections to ensure the integrity of financial data.

• Support the management of high-volume transactions across multiple entities. Requirements • Proven experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Pro, with familiarity in other accounting systems like NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.

• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and advanced journal entries.

• Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting.

• Ability to manage complex inter-company transactions with precision.

• Demonstrated expertise in tax preparation and regulatory compliance.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and leadership.
