Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team in Frankfort, Kentucky. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a vital role in managing payment processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and safeguarding property interests. Responsibilities:

• Review and process daily payment reports to resolve suspended and unapplied transactions.

• Prepare and follow up on correspondence to maintain compliance with internal policies, servicer guidelines, and government regulations.

• Coordinate property inspections, document findings, and implement necessary actions to secure properties at risk.

• Ensure adequate insurance coverage is in place to protect property interests.

• Utilize data analysis to evaluate and resolve payment discrepancies effectively.

• Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports as required.

• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement efficient work plans.

• Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

• Present ideas and solutions clearly to support decision-making processes. Requirements • At least 3 years of experience in collections, specifically consumer collections.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet applications.

• Familiarity with federal housing programs, laws, and regulations.

• Strong knowledge of Crystal Reports software.

• Effective data analysis and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to organize tasks, plan projects, and work independently.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

• Capability to handle confidential information with discretion.
