    Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Capital Market Middle Office Analyst in the bustling city of Los Angeles, California. The role primarily involves supporting the Capital Market Operations within Business & Investment Services. The successful candidate will be part of a hybrid workplace, providing strategic planning and maintaining operational procedures and systems for various lines of business within Capital Market, including FX & Interest Rate Derivatives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure daily FX & Interest Rate activities are supported and maintained.

    • Collaborate with the Front Office to meet business objectives, enhance productivity, quality, customer service/satisfaction, and control operating risk.

    • Manage daily tasks including trade entries and management control reports.

    • Provide advice to internal clients on business trends, issues, changes in the operating environment, and the implications of the firm or business unit strategy.

    • Contribute to Capital Markets projects, including procedure updates, cross-training, process improvements, and ensuring all applicable project deliverables are on time.

    • Identify and implement new processes, procedures, and products to improve workflow, efficiency, and/or profitability.

    • Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensure actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience.

    • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

    • Ensure all areas of responsibility comply with policies and procedures.

    • Provide support to the Capital Market business units and their affiliated Line of Business. Requirements • Proficient in Customer Service, demonstrating an ability to interact effectively with clients and resolve queries

    • Possess strong Sales skills, with a focus on achieving financial objectives and targets

    • Skilled in Documentation, able to create, maintain and manage comprehensive records

    • Experienced in Training, capable of guiding team members and improving overall productivity

    • Knowledgeable in Operations, ensuring smooth daily procedures and workflow

    • Familiar with Procedures and Policy, adhering to organizational guidelines and standards

    • Experienced in Payment Processing, ensuring accurate and timely transactions

    • Committed to Quality, dedicated to maintaining high standards in all work outputs

    • Knowledge of the Hiring Processes, able to contribute to recruitment and team building

    • Able to Perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks, demonstrating flexibility and initiative

    • Experienced in managing Deposits, ensuring secure and accurate financial transactions

    • Proficient in Digital tools, using technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency

    • Skilled in Strategic Planning, aligning operations with company goals

    • Excellent in Client Relations, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients

    • Knowledgeable in Capital Management, optimizing the use of financial resources

    • Skilled in Process Improvement, identifying opportunities for efficiency and implementing changes

    • Familiar with Capital Markets, understanding market trends and financial instruments

    • Able to handle Compliance Functions, ensuring all operations adhere to regulatory standards

    • Possess strong Interpersonal Skills, able to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly

    • Experience in Financial Services, understanding the dynamics of the financial sector

    • Able to deliver Deliverables on time, demonstrating strong time management skills

    • Willing to work Onsite, demonstrating flexibility and commitment

    • Skilled in Mitigation, able to identify and manage risks effectively.
