Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky, on a Contract-to-permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, who can efficiently manage invoice processing and account reconciliation tasks. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payments while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Process and code invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial records are up-to-date and error-free.

• Manage check runs and ensure proper documentation for payments.

• Enter data into accounting systems with precision and attention to detail.

• Conduct invoice reviews to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to handle payment workflows.

• Prepare reports related to accounts payable activities using Microsoft Excel.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address payment inquiries.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements during payment processing.

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or related financial roles.

• Proficiency in accounting software, including Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.

• Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records.

• Familiarity with coding invoices and conducting account reconciliations.

• Knowledge of check runs and invoice processing procedures.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities to resolve payment discrepancies.

• Strong communication skills for vendor and team collaboration.
