Description We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to lead and optimize financial operations within our organization. This role is pivotal in driving accurate financial reporting, strategic planning, and insightful analysis to support decision-making across various departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure financial targets are met.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis team to deliver timely and high-quality financial analysis.

• Collaborate with departments such as Operations, Logistics, IT, HR, and Business Development to provide actionable financial insights.

• Develop and present departmental financial reports with detailed variance analyses to aid budget management.

• Identify potential risks and opportunities within budgets and offer strategic recommendations to optimize financial outcomes.

• Analyze key performance metrics, such as labor and postage costs, to uncover trends and efficiency opportunities.

• Oversee the long-term planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and performance trends.

• Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to evaluate potential financial risks and opportunities.

• Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports with clear commentary on budget and forecast variances.

• Collaborate with teams to streamline financial reporting processes and enhance data accuracy and automation.

• Support strategic initiatives by preparing business cases and tracking financial outcomes post-implementation. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. CPA and/or MBA is preferred

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a management role.

• Proficiency in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial systems.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, insightful financial reports.

• Experience in private equity-backed businesses or mergers and acquisitions is preferred.

• Background in public accounting is a plus.

• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and drive financial performance.

This positions offers a salary range of $150,000-$160,000 plus bonus and comes with a full benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k and paid time off.
