Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and a passion for accuracy and detail, particularly within the real estate industry. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of financial tasks, including preparing financial statements, managing payroll, and overseeing cash flow.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with precision.

• Handle payroll for a small team of employees, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and multiple bank accounts.

• Prepare financial statements using QuickBooks software.

• Oversee cash management to ensure optimal financial operations.

• Administer lease agreements, including net lease accounting and tenant reconciliations.

• Conduct year-end tenant reconciliations for owned shopping centers and single properties.

• Collaborate with the management team during monthly financial meetings.

• Develop and maintain spreadsheets using Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

Requirements

• A minimum of five years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.

• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.

• Experience in the commercial real estate industry is highly preferred.

• Strong written communication skills.

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting is a plus but not required.
