Description
We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Jersey City, New Jersey. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations while enhancing your skills. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and reconciling financial data to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Reconcile bank accounts by reviewing transactions and ensuring accurate posting in financial ledgers.
• Process customer payments and maintain records to ensure smooth cash flow and tracking.
• Assist in compiling monthly financial closings and preparing annual reports.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable balances to prevent discrepancies and overdue payments.
• Prepare and issue accurate billing statements to clients and resolve any invoice-related concerns.
• Record and analyze cash activity to maintain accurate financial records.
• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP tools to perform day-to-day financial operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Provide support for audits by organizing and maintaining necessary documentation.
Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or similar financial roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems and ERP platforms.
• Familiarity with ADP financial services or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of billing functions and cash handling procedures.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to reconcile financial data and maintain accurate records.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
