Description

Ou client is looking for a highly skilled Payroll Clerk to join their team in Spring, Texas. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in payroll processing and a solid understanding of multi-state payroll operations. This role also involves light HR responsibilities and requires a proactive individual with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for up to 300 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Handle payroll for both hourly and salaried employees, including 75 in-office staff and field personnel.

• Manage multi-state payroll processing while adhering to applicable regulations.

• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Assist with basic HR tasks such as onboarding, maintaining documentation, and recordkeeping.

• Provide support to office and field employees with payroll and HR-related inquiries.

• Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.

• Utilize payroll systems effectively, with experience in platforms like ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, or Dayforce.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll and HR operations.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience, including handling payroll for large employee groups.

• Expertise in multi-state payroll management and compliance.

• Proficiency in using payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, or Dayforce.

• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

• Familiarity with payroll for both hourly and salaried employees.

• Basic HR experience, including onboarding and maintaining employee records.

• Ability to manage payroll operations efficiently while adhering to deadlines.

• Proven reliability and tenure in previous roles, showcasing dedication and professionalism.
