Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Saddle Brook, New Jersey. You will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting business decisions through reliable reporting. Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Generate and analyze financial reports to assist in strategic decision-making.
• Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice verification and payment scheduling.
• Handle accounts receivable tasks, such as payment collection and account reconciliation.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Utilize accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP for efficient workflow management.
Requirements
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and managing general ledger activities.
• Solid understanding of journal entries and month-end close procedures.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, MS Dynamics, or SAP.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
