    Description

You will provide key administrative and financial support to a busy accounting team, ensuring accuracy in transaction processing and contributing to the smooth running of daily financial operations.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Assist with invoice processing, including coding, matching, and entering AP/AR transactions into the accounting system.

    + Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and support month-end close processes.

    + Support payment processes, including reconciling vendor statements and issuing checks or ACH payments.

    + Assist with data entry, bank reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

    + Generate reports for management, such as spending analysis and budget updates.

    + Maintain well-organized accounting records, both physical and digital, ensuring logical filing systems.

    + Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve financial efficiency.

    Requirements

    + Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).

    + 1-2 years of accounting experience in a similar role highly desirable.

    + Familiarity with accounting systems like QuickBooks, Peachtree, or other ERP tools.

    + Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in busy environments.
