Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis. This role focuses on managing comprehensive financial operations, ensuring precise accounting practices, and supporting the organization in achieving its financial objectives. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience with accounting systems, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to handle diverse bookkeeping responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Oversee and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll activities.

+ Utilize accounting software, such as QuickBooks, to execute daily bookkeeping tasks efficiently and accurately.

+ Prepare annual budgets, monitor their implementation, and perform in-depth cash flow analysis to assist in financial planning.

+ Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy in financial records and adherence to organizational protocols.

+ Develop comprehensive financial reports to support management in strategic decision-making.

+ Manage the preparation of tax-related documents and ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

+ Conduct financial audits to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and maintain data integrity.

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support smooth financial operations and resolve accounting-related inquiries.

+ Leverage advanced Microsoft Excel skills to create and manage spreadsheets for financial data tracking and reporting.

+ Provide strategic recommendations to enhance the company’s financial processes and systems, driving efficiencies.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including QuickBooks.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Ability to create and manage annual budgets and conduct cash flow analysis.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and computerized accounting systems.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.

• Familiarity with tax preparation and compliance regulations.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams.
