    Position is located: Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital

     

    Work Type: Full Time

     

    Hours Per Week: 40

     

    Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

    Summary:

    Assist in the maintenance of the hospital and associated grounds to maintain the upkeep, operations and appearance of.

    Responsibilities:

    + Complete work orders, preventative work orders, projects and call ins, in order of urgency or as directed by Maintenance Manager.

    + Replace ceiling tiles and light bulbs according to policy.

    + Replace floor tile, installs cove base and other minor floor repairs.

    + Perform basic plumbing skills.

    + Perform basic mechanical skills.

    + Perform basic carpentry skills.

    + Perform basic electrical skills.

    + Perform repairs on the building finish such as patching and painting.

    Credentials

     

    Must possess a Maine State 4th Class or 3rd Class Station Steam Engineer license. Would consider a Maine State Boiler Operator that will obtain the Maine State 4 th Class Station Steam Engineer license, within one year of hire.

    + Required High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED)
