This position will be a full-time position available, in Picatinny Arsenal, for a Facilities Program Specialist with 2+ years of experience. This person will provide support for a customer at Picatinny Arsenal.
What will you be doing?
The Facilities-Logistics Program Support Specialist provides critical administrative, analytical, and project support to the Facilities and Logistics Program Manager and the broader Facilities - Logistics team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and successful execution of facility - logistics related programs, projects, and initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, possesses excellent communication skills, and is proficient in data management and analysis. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. Duties include:
• Program & Project Support: Assist the Facilities-Logistics Program Manager in the planning, development, and implementation of facility- Logistics programs and projects, including capital improvements, preventative maintenance programs, and space planning initiatives. Logistics support inventory control of government assets.
• Data Management & Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze facility data (e.g., work order data, utility consumption, space utilization) to identify trends, generate reports, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Documentation & Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate and organized documentation related to facility programs, projects, and procedures. Prepare regular reports on program status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and project milestones. Provides Logistics support with record keeping-reporting, warehousing, transportation, and preparation of turn in processing documentation compliance.
• Communication & Coordination: Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors. Initiate and facilitate communication and coordination between different Facility – Logistics teams.
• Other Duties: Assumes out of the box independent strategic approach value in performing efficiency to duties as assigned to the overall goals of the Facilities Logistics Management department.
What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?
This position will require the following skillsets and experience:
• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering) preferred.
• 2+ years of experience providing administrative or project support, preferably within a facilities management or construction environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). MS Teams video and audio and calendar presentation meeting note taking experience is required. Experience with CMMS systems (e.g., Archibus, Maximo, ServiceNow) is highly desirable. Data analysis skills using Excel or other data visualization tools.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work well within a team
• Please note that US Citizenship is required to work on a military installation.
• Ability to obtain security clearance background investigation.
• Must be US Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
