Job Summary:

+ Optimize teaching methods for instructors with a student focus

+ Available for AHA class management and teach if necessary

+ Continued equipment support and maintenance

+ Understand trends in adult learning/training and create presentations to peers

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Bachelors degree or higher

+ 2 Years EMS experience and 2 years education in a medical setting or similar experience.

+ Must be qualified to be a BLS instructor within 6 months of hire

+ Knowledge and experience in working with AHA

+ Experience in Word, Excel, and Power Point or equivalent

+ Excellent organizational skills

+ People/problem solving skills and diplomacy

+ Must be able to lift a 50 lb. manikin

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Knowledge of data bases or data base management

+ Basic repair skills of equipment

+ Bachelor's or higher level degree preferred

Work Days:

Self scheduling with some restrictions start times for classes can be as early as 7:00 a.m. A few classes each year will start at 4:00 p.m. ending about 8:00 p.m.
