Job Title: Senior Construction Project Manager (Hospital Experience)
About the Role:
System One is partnering with our client in search of a highly skilled Senior Construction Project Manager with a strong background in hospital projects to oversee all phases of construction initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team in a pivotal role that directly impacts the successful delivery of high-quality healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects from kickoff to closeout, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and budgetary constraints.
+ Serve as the primary liaison between clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, maintaining clear and ongoing communication.
+ Oversee contract administration and manage subcontractor relationships to ensure project requirements are met.
+ Collaborate with estimating teams to develop comprehensive scopes of work for contract processes.
+ Create and maintain project schedules, monitoring progress and making necessary updates to meet timelines.
+ Administer project documentation, including contracts, correspondence, submittals, and requests for information.
+ Conduct financial management of project budgets, interfacing with accounting to track gross margins and ensure cost controls are in place.
+ Proactively identify and resolve issues that arise throughout the project lifecycle, facilitating effective problem-solving and dispute resolution.
+ Champion quality assurance and safety programs, collaborating with the Project Superintendent and Safety Manager.
+ Document and lead client progress meetings, generating and distributing detailed reports as necessary.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 5 years of relevant construction experience with a demonstrated track record in hospital or healthcare-related projects.
+ Thorough understanding of construction management principles, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
+ Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, E-Builder) and skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
+ Certifications such as CPR, OSHA 30, and a clean drug test are required.
