We’re seeking a board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist for our Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) at Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic. This is a unique opportunity to practice in a community-centered setting with a strong hybrid model, combining in-person and remote care.

    Position Overview:

    + Hybrid Role: While this position has some in-person components, it also has many remote opportunities

    Clifton Springs CPEP is the only rural psychiatric emergency program in New York State, providing critical behavioral health services across a four-county region. With fewer than 3,000 visits annually, you'll make a direct impact on those in need of psychiatric crisis care.

    What You’ll Do

    + Evening Shifts: CPEP psychiatric assessments with licensed clinical evaluators, utilizing both in-person and telepsychiatry.

    + Weekend Shifts: Psychiatric admissions and CPEP consultations, also hybrid.

    + Collaborate with Emergency Medicine for medical clearance.

    + Voluntary call opportunities for additional compensation.

    LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

    Physician - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    L - Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly; requires occasional walking, standing or squatting.

    The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
