As a Senior Financial Analyst, the role will carry out responsibilities such as but not limited to supporting the financial planning and reporting processes for raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and labor at the plant. The role includes maintaining the integrity of all financial policies, maintaining internal controls, establishing operating budgets, and accurately forecasting and reporting financial performance. Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate with the commercialization team, frontline leaders, and the management team to align duties with the company's goals and values.

Key responsibilities for this position include:
+ Support delivery of financial target for the plant by developing controllable cost productivity pipeline, analyzing costs to drive reductions, creating action plans to close gaps
+ Assist with annual budget, ensuring accurate costs by department/cost component and accurate creation of financial standards (BOM/routings)
+ Ensure completion of month end close requirements (journal entries, SAP) and monthly reporting of results including analysis of the drivers of results
+ Contribute to weekly reporting of actual and forecasted costs (raw, ingredients, packaging, and labor), including the development and distribution of reports to plant manufacturing management
+ Provide oversight and auditing of operational BOM accuracy throughout the year. Works with the plant on all BOM changes, operational & financial and sets up all new materials in SAP
+ Work with commercialization team as required to develop new product costing models; monitor and analyze new product startups at plant
+ Be an active member and contributor to plant manager and leadership team, including training and feedback to users of financial information and support of frontline leaders
+ Establish and maintain internal controls consistent with corporate requirements and good business practice
+ Show support for all department and plant initiatives, including quality and safety
+ Volunteer to lead or co-lead initiatives

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
Education
+ A bachelor's degree is required.
+ Majors in Accounting/Finance are preferred.
Experience
+ 3+ years in accounting/ finance experience is required.
+ Strong ERP and financial system SAP background
+ Proficient with software such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including the ability to create, modify and ensure accuracy of complex spreadsheets
Certifications and specific knowledge
+ Knowledge of general accounting and cost accounting are required.
