Calling All Pre-Nursing Students with a CNA!
Are you a pre-nursing student looking to gain valuable hands-on experience this summer? If you currently hold your CNA license, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Join our team in the Emergency Room and support patient care alongside experienced healthcare professionals.
Position Overview:
As a CNA in our ER department, you will play an essential role in delivering quality care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse. This is a great opportunity to build clinical skills and gain insight into emergency care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
+ Conduct patient rounds and monitor patient conditions to ensure quality care.
+ Report any changes in patient status to the registered nurse promptly.
+ Assist with patient admissions and transfers.
+ Deliver basic nursing care and comfort measures.
+ Support patient and family education as directed by the nursing team.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
+ Obtain and maintain CPR Certification required
+ Ability to successfully complete telemetry class to obtain basic knowledge of cardiac rhythms to be completed by the end of orientation
+ Current CNA certification
+ High School Diploma/GED preferred

+ Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation

+ Flexibility in schedule; willing to work additional hours, take low census days or alternate shifts as needed .
