SUMMARY OF POSITION
GMM Pfaudler has established a new Mixing platform with the acquisition of Mixel and Mixpro, this alongside Mixion form the new platform. The Sales Director (USA) is a newly developed role reporting up to the VP of Mixing. The candidate will be responsible for executing the Mixing Business Plan.
The Sales Director is responsible for developing and executing the strategic sales plan to achieve the revenue goals of the mixing business. As the regions grows, we expect the candidate to manage a high-performing sales team, fostering client relationships, managing the distribution network and ensuring alignment between sales strategies and business objectives. The Sales Director will collaborate with other departments to drive growth and maintain a competitive position in the market.
It is desirable the Candidate has experience in the field of Mixing however this is role is focused on developing and implementing the strategy for original equipment, aftermarket and service. Product and applications support will be provided from the back office as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
+ Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
+ Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
+ Establish short-term and long-term sales objectives in alignment with the company’s goals.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Agent/Distribution Network:
+ Evaluate existing Distribution network, performance manage the network if required.
+ Onboard new distributors, provide product training and support with client visits.
+ Identify opportunities to upsell with the Equilloy product line.
Team Leadership & Management:
+ As the region grows to Recruit, train, and mentor regional sales managers.
+ Set performance benchmarks and monitor individual and team performance.
+ Provide regular coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to team members.
Operational Oversight:
+ Oversee sales operations, including CRM systems, reporting, and forecasting.
+ Monitor sales metrics and generate regular performance reports for senior leadership.
+ Collaborate with marketing, product, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
Revenue Growth:
+ Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities to expand the customer base.
+ Optimize pricing strategies and sales processes to maximize profitability.
+ Proactively address challenges or obstacles to achieving revenue targets.
Qualifications & Skills:
+ Education: Engineering background, MBA preferred but not essential.
+ Experience: Proven track record of success in a senior sales role, with 7+ years of experience, including 3+ years in a leadership position.
+ Skills:
+ Strong leadership and team management abilities.
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
+ Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
+ In-depth knowledge of the industry and market trends.
