Job Title: Telehealth Registered NurseJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated Telehealth Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves conducting patient history intake and preparation, managing lab data, providing follow-up steps, and performing advanced telephone triage functions. The nurse will also participate in research activities and act as a liaison between patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct patient history intake and preparation.
+ Collect and manage lab data.
+ Provide follow-up steps for patients.
+ Conduct advanced telephone triage functions.
+ Participate in research activities.
+ Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
+ Maintain accurate records and documentation.
+ Monitor and order supplies.
+ Perform quality assurance (QA) functions as directed.
+ Assist with the orientation and training of new personnel and clinical staff.
Essential Skills
+ Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
+ Experience with electronic health records.
+ Valid NY RN License.
+ Healthcare and patient care expertise.
+ Medical and patient education skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ NYS RN License.
+ 3 years of RN experience.
Work Environment
The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 3 PM, totaling a 35-hour work week. You will gain valuable experience working with an underserved community within a reputable non-profit organization, with opportunities to transition into a permanent role if your performance meets expectations. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $48.00/hr.
