Job Title: Associate Director of Project Controls
Job Description
The position requires delivering Value Engineering solutions to clients by identifying savings opportunities and ensuring material substitutions are equivalent. Proven business development skills are crucial, as they should have contributed to market growth over the past year.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and plan growth opportunities for direct reports and teams.
+ Provide continuous feedback to enhance team performance.
+ Transition from a task-focused to a business-focused approach.
+ Demonstrate leadership and represent company values in client interactions.
+ Deliver Value Engineering solutions to clients, identifying savings and ensuring material substitutions are equal.
+ Utilize ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle efficiently.
+ Estimate across multiple divisions proficiently.
+ Manage contracts for projects, both pre-award and post-award.
+ Control costs effectively for projects.
+ Use analytical and reporting software like Power BI proficiently.
Essential Skills
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Functional proficiency in ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.
+ Proficiency in estimation across various divisions.
+ Proficiency in project contracts management.
+ Proficiency in cost management.
+ Experience with analytical/reporting software such as Power BI.
+ Experience with project information management systems like Procore or ACC Build.
+ BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field.
+ 6+ years of experience in project controls.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Preferred certifications: MRICS, CPE, CCE, CEP, PMP, Six Sigma.
+ Skills in forecasting, quality control, cost control, Primavera, cost analysis, quality assurance, and overall CEA skills.
+ Proficiency in Primavera P6 and pivot tables.
+ Accounting knowledge.
Work Environment
The position is based in the Chandler office, offering a great employee bonus program. The role involves interfacing with clients and collaborating within a dynamic and supportive work setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
