    Statement of Purpose: Cordially greets and receives patients, ascertains their needs and appropriately directs patients. Has command of computer, uses telephone courteously and performs clerical duties. Performs phlebotomy procedures, including bleeding, blood cultures and EKG procedures. Manages their location by ensuring supplies are ordered, staffing is optimal, and issues are addressed. Ensuring the mangers/ supervisor are aware of issues or concerns about the site. Working closely with the manager/ supervisor to ensure the site runs as efficiently as possible

    Qualifications:

    1. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Phlebotomy training required. 1 year of phlebotomy or management preferred.

    2. Certification / License: Valid Driver's license. ASCP or eligible

    3. Experience: Computer/Keyboard experience helpful. Phlebotomy experience required. Ability to communicate fluently in English.

    + This is a phlebotomy coordinator position at our Cancer Center.

    + This position is Monday thru Friday.

    + This position is a lead position with 3 other phlebotomists.

    + This person will act as the point of contact for Dana Farber communication, among other duties.

    MRMC Differentials:

    Hospital differentials are: $3.50 hourly for evenings, $5.00 hourly for nights, and $2.75 hourly for weekends. All differentials are paid based per hospital policy.
