Job Title: Cleanroom Technician
Job Description
As a Cleanroom Technician, you will be responsible for assembling panels for medical devices and processing components through instructions that may be in the form of drawings, written, or verbal direction. You will inspect parts for quality and defects, perform micro laser ablation, and measure and inspect arterial stents. Additionally, you will be involved in the micro laser etching of dental implant parts and handle data entry tasks such as filling out job travelers, certificates of conformance, and making labels for parts.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble panels for medical devices following instructions and drawings.
+ Inspect parts for quality and identify defects.
+ Perform micro laser ablation and etching on medical components.
+ Measure and inspect arterial stents using precise equipment.
+ Complete data entry tasks including filling out job travelers and certificates of conformance.
+ Sign off on job travelers and create part labels.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in assembling medical devices.
+ Proficiency in production and cleanroom operations.
+ Ability to operate machinery and perform inspections.
+ Experience in quality assurance and inspection using microscopes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2 years of experience in manufacturing, specifically in medical devices.
+ Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
+ Ability to accurately measure parts and handle measuring equipment.

Work Environment
The work environment is a cleanroom manufacturing setting with positions available across different shifts. The 1st shift runs from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, the 2nd shift from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm with a 7% shift differential, and the 3rd shift from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am with a 12% shift differential. Employees are compensated for an 8-hour day with an additional 30 minutes of paid time. Overtime is sometimes available on Saturdays and is voluntary. The role involves sitting most of the day with the option to stand, and requires comfort in lifting up to 20 lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.40/hr.
