Maintenance Technician - Night Shift
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure the effective operation and upkeep of machinery, equipment, and facility systems. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems within our manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
+ Conduct routine preventative maintenance on processing and support equipment, as well as facility-related machinery.
+ Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts, fabricate parts when needed, and adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
+ Follow blueprints, specifications, diagrams, and service manuals to repair and maintain equipment.
+ Repair broken parts using brazing, soldering, and welding equipment and hand tools.
+ Prepare maintenance reports, document, and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs using EAM.
+ Work safely and efficiently using all required personal protective equipment and following proper training techniques.
+ Participate actively in Continuous Improvement initiatives, promoting and sustaining CI, 5S, and STW activities.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
+ Competence in preventive maintenance practices.
+ Strong understanding of electrical troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2-5 years of relevant work experience in maintenance roles.
+ Capability to work with various fabrication tools and techniques.
+ Commitment to Continuous Improvement and safety practices.

Work Environment
The work environment is large and spacious within a manufacturing setting. It is characterized by a loud atmosphere with the smell of hot plastic. Employees will follow a 2x2x3 schedule, working either from 5 am to 5 pm or from 5 pm to 5 am.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
